After three days of sweating it out at Las Termales de Nahualapa, we've decided to relocate our workshop to our little slice of paradise. Here, we have all the essentials (like, you know, electricity) to create our pedal-powered washing machines in a zen-like state of calm. Over the past few days, we've been on a roll—our dryer is almost ready to spin, and our first washing machine is taking shape. It's been a hot minute since we last tackled a pedal-powered washing machine, so it's been a blast to dust off our design and building skills. We've also been carving out some very important team building time and brainstorming plans for the future of our Mujer al Pedal crew. Next week, we're gearing up for a group class at Las Termales, where we'll dive into designing and installing our water filters.
